National Electronic Health Record in Singapore

Accenture partnered with MOH Holdings Singapore, the holding company of Singapore’s public healthcare institutions, in 2011 to launch one of the world’s first national electronic health record (NEHR) systems. The NEHR enables a single patient health record for clinicians in Singapore across the continuum of care. Whether it’s in primary care clinics, acute or community hospitals, healthcare professionals are able to access a single patient record. Accessing holistic patient information will improve care and enable insight driven practices. Overall the NEHR has lowered the costs of health services and promoted effective health policies, helping to eliminated unnecessary tests and reduce medication errors. That’s the power of a unified EHR utilized across the continuum of care.
