Virtual Waiting Room

Patients are eager for access to electronic medical records and other electronic capabilities. Accenture conducted a Consumer Survey on Patient Engagement in 2013 that explored whether doctors are delivering on what patients are waiting for. The survey assessed the general public’s attitudes toward their medical providers’ electronic capabilities, as well as the capabilities of their current providers. This survey highlights select findings from the Accenture Doctors Survey to compare the doctor and consumer responses.
